SYSTEM NETWORK ADMINISTRATION · CYBERSECURITY
Hello, I’m Sreyla Mang — an IT student passionate about networking, system administration, and cybersecurity. I’m learning by building, troubleshooting, and exploring how technology works.
IT STUDENT
01 — ABOUT ME
I’m developing my knowledge in system and network administration, IT support, and cybersecurity. I enjoy understanding how devices communicate, how services are configured, and how to keep systems reliable and secure.
My goal is to grow into a skilled IT professional who can troubleshoot real-world problems, protect digital environments, and keep learning as technology evolves.
02 — MY TOOLKIT
A growing toolkit backed by hands-on practice, lab work, and curiosity.
Learning network fundamentals, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, routing, and DHCP.
Exploring security fundamentals, safe configurations, threat awareness, and defensive thinking.
Practicing operating-system setup, user management, services, and server configuration.
Developing a structured approach to troubleshooting, documentation, and lab testing.
These are learning areas and practice topics — I’m continuously improving through coursework and hands-on labs.
03 — SELECTED PRACTICE
Examples of the kinds of practical work I’m exploring as I develop my IT skills.
Building simulated network topologies to practice IP addressing, VLAN segmentation, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Practicing server installation concepts, static network settings, user and group management, and directory services.
Learning to recognize phishing, use safer digital practices, and explain basic security risks in clear language.
Portfolio note: project cards describe practice areas and learning goals. Replace or update them with screenshots, lab results, and links as each project is completed.
04 — MY MINDSET
Ask questions, explore new tools, and keep learning every day.
Turn theory into lab work, test carefully, and document what I learn.
Consider reliability, privacy, and security in every technical decision.
